Company Overview

We are a 3rd generation family run business since 1967, that still keeps old-fashioned values when dealing with our customers. Honesty and trust is at the basis of all that we do.

Our goal is to provide our customers with the best experience possible. We specialize in affordable couture bridal gowns, bridesmaid’s dresses, and special occasion dresses.

In 2004, we moved into our larger location that gave us 2500 sq. ft. of retail space. It was the best move we ever did to serve our customers better. In 2006, we expanded our second floor for our prom gowns and bridesmaid dresses, adding another 2000 sq. ft. of space. We might still be located in the middle of nowhere, but we have the LARGEST selection and amazing staff that make up for it.

People always ask us why here? Why do people come all the way here?
Our answer will always be: “We are conveniently situated in the country to give you the best prices, the largest exclusive selection and the ability to give you everything you need under one roof.”

This is what gives us the reputation that makes it well worth the drive.  Book your appointment now and come see for yourself what everyone is talking about!

Our Family Values

Years ago Therese Theoret had a vision, she started selling women’s clothing out of her beautiful Moose Creek home. Women from the area would say, “Lets go chez Therese.” Later along with her husband they bought a local school and renovated it into a shopping location. Her vision was brought to life when Chez Therese officially opened in 1967. The family got involved adding to the ladies’ wear boutique and in 1989, Therese’s Daughter, Ginette expanded the dress business opening Alliance Bridal.

The name came from the French language “Alliance de marriage” Meaning wedding band. It was the perfect symbol to interpret a special bond between two people. It is the vision of what she wanted her business to be about, trust.

She set the bar high almost 40 years ago creating a large bridal room where she could only help one bride at a time. This was the true meaning behind one-on-one customer service. She definitely had the right vision and the customer’s needs at heart.

She worked side by side closely with her mother managing Chez Therese ladies wear and Alliance bridal. Many hours of dedication and love was put poured into the businesses.

I remember the loving atmosphere like it was yesterday, the smile and pride my grandmother had, that I now see in my mother.

Many renovations came along to expand my mother’s growing business in the small town but when Therese passed away, the truth of the matter is things change.

The glue that kept everything and everyone together was gone.

Ginette put her business and commitment to her customers first and with her husband Rene Lemieux they bought a piece of land on the outskirt of town to start fresh without anyone holding her back. Customers come first.

I have seen a lot my life especially on business point of view. I have spent most of my life at the store; I grew up in this environment. Yes my life now is a bit like “Say yes to the dress’ but I’m okay with that, I love it.

I have a loving husband, two sons and a daughter, we all have a passion for horses.

I am even more delighted that I can share my passion of sewing and creation with my co-workers and customers.

To this day, my mother and I work together as a team, she still holds a part of the store for her now Chez Ginette ladies wear clothing and I started the Prom Shop as my part about 20 years ago.

I know my grandmother is still here from time to time, looking over us. I thank her a lot, since I would not be here without her vision.

To all our past, present and future customers, we thank you for being part of our growing family and letting us be part of your Story.

Sincerely,
Valerie Lemieux-Sauvé
